On 10th April 2026, Uganda Tea Association Ltd organized a Members’ Retreat which brought together factory owners, managers, stakeholders, and strategic partners to deliberate on the future of the tea industry. The event focused on the unveiling of a new Strategic plan, market diversification, and logistical optimization.

The retreat brought together the industry’s leading technical and financial powerhouses to align our vision for the future. From precision engineering to global trade finance, these partnerships are the engine driving our commitment to elevating the Ugandan tea sector.

ANYSORT- Tea Cloud Quality Sorter

We were pleased to host Anysort during our technical sessions, where Mr. Kolt Gao demonstrated how advanced optical technology is redefining post-production quality control. By utilizing their Digital Colour Sorter Separator Selector Machine, tea processors are able to achieve impeccable grading and ‘Export Quality’ standards, ensuring that only the finest leaves reach the global markets.
